About SumDay

Most budgeting apps ask you to link a bank, categorize every coffee, and trust some server with your full spending history. SumDay takes the opposite approach: a single daily number, on your device, optional AI when you want it.

You tell SumDay three things — monthly income, fixed costs, savings goal. From that it works out one amount you can spend today and rolls over whatever you save. Logging an expense takes a tap. Receipts can be scanned with AI; weekly insights summarize the patterns instead of lecturing you about them.

We built it because a daily limit changes behavior in a way that monthly category budgets never do. Knowing today's number is enough information to make the next decision well — and small enough not to ruin the rest of your day.

Transactions, budgets and notes stay in a local database on your iPhone. No account. No cloud sync. No ads. The only data that ever leaves your device is what you deliberately send — a receipt photo, a weekly aggregate — and we explain exactly what each thing is in our Privacy Policy.
